1940s Art Deco Ivory Catalin 2 Decorative Switch Plate Covers

This listing is for 2 very unique Art Deco electric switch plate covers. On the back one of them is marked “Decorative Switch Plaque US Pat No 2172731” and “Decorative Switch Plate Corp New York City USA.” The other only has "Made in USA". I looked up the patent which was from 1939 (see last photo). I am pretty sure these are Catalin in an ivory color with brown edging. Each plate has 2 holes for the screws — screws not included. When you move the decorated piece in the center up and down it will flip the switch which will be inside the back hole. The marked one with the tulip flower is rectangular and is 5 3/16” long and 2 3/4” wide. The other comes to a point on top and bottom and is 5 3/8” long and 2 3/4” wide. Both seem to work smoothly and are in very nice condition. Tiny bit of the brown missing in spots. Would be so fabulous in an elegant old house or inn - a renovators dream to find these!
