    Description

This is our beautifully handcrafted Knitting Fork / Lucet or Tvinningsben. The Lucet is an ancient tool believed to date back to the Viking and Medieval periods. It is used to make strong, tightly woven, square shaped cord. The cord can be used for many things including lacing, tying, drawstrings, decorative trim and braid... Made from solid Red Oak, this is a thick and sturdy tool, made to last a lifetime. Carefully hand sanded and finished with a combination of oil and wax for a natural smooth satin finish.
    Measurements: 6" tall x 2 1/2" wide x 1/4" thick.
    1/2" hole in center.
