  • Condition: Purchased new by relative, but unknown store or location.The frosted glass liner has no chips or repairs. The unique snail design handle holds the butter knife. The maker's marks, which are many, are on the bottom of the silver plate holder, but no marks found on the glass. The glass liner fits snug, Unknown age, but at each holiday meal in the dining room, this butter dish was filled with butter made into petite balls. The frosted dish was chilled and the butter was hard and very cold. After any special occasion, the butter dish set was hand washed and stored.The dish was found in the buffet cabinet drawer, wrapped in tissue paper. Stored for years so it does need to be polished if the shinny look fits your decor. Home is smoke and pet free. Please examine pictures for details.
